Reflection, storytelling, purpose, and final-quarter clarity"

Reflection, storytelling, purpose, and final-quarter clarity"

"What’s your end-of-year planning ritual or tradition?". The theme for the month is: "Theme: Reflection, storytelling, purpose, and final-quarter clarity".

As the final quarter marches on ,  it's natural to start reflecting on the year that has passed. It's a time to look back on your journey, tell your story, and find clarity on your purpose. Embracing this process can lead to a deeper understanding of yourself and your goals.

Reflect on Your Journey

Take a moment to reflect on the experiences and challenges you've faced this year. What have you learned about yourself? What accomplishments are you proud of? Reflecting on your journey can help you appreciate how far you've come and identify areas for growth.

Tell Your Story

Storytelling is a powerful tool for self-reflection and growth. Take the time to write down your story - the highs, the lows, the lessons learned. Sharing your story with others can also provide valuable insights and feedback. Remember, your story is unique and worth telling. How about writing some stories of your childhood Christmases and saving these for Christmas afternoon and evening with the Christmas tea , sandwiches and cake ., perhaps around the fire with some candles ... ?

My father came from Bethnal Green in the East End of London and was born there in the 1920's . In True East End Cockney tradition , he was a wonderful story teller and told stories rather than read them , when he put me to bed ....

Find Your Purpose

As you reflect on your journey and tell your story, you may start to uncover your true purpose. What drives you? What brings you joy and fulfilment? Finding your purpose can give you clarity and direction as you move forward. It can help you set meaningful goals and make decisions that align with your values.

Embrace this final quarter as an opportunity to gain clarity on your path. Reflect on your journey, tell your story, and find your purpose. By taking the time to understand yourself better, you can set yourself up for success in the year ahead.
